I am thrilled with this website. It brings back a lot of wonderful memories, and fond wishes for past friends. I enjoy this page much more than Classmates.
Thank you for all of the work you put into it. I am sorry to not be attending our 30th, but will have made two trips to Yakima in 2008 and can't squeeze a third in at this time. Take lots of pictures and post them for those of us not lucky enough to attend.

Hello Everyone! This website really is great! I hope more peeps post pictures - I have had a lot of fun cking everyone out! I look forward to the reunion and catching up on what everyone has been up to the past 10 or so years! Spread the word to those who you see haven't posted any info yet as we still need to find people. If anyone would like to help with putting a book together (if you use the computer a lot this would be a great way of helping us out!) Thanks Tam

Suzanne Beaulaurier was my best friend since we met in sophomore English. We were both new to WV and hit it off right away. She was a very warm and wonderful person.
As her best friend I would like to honor her on this website and at the reunion.
If anyone has any pictures of her they could share or a memory or story, please share with me. My email is conklinjulie@yahoo.com.

I feel like I have relived a life I lost over the years in 3 days and wishing I had been more part of the festive activities which occurred away from West Valley. So many memories coming back and some just not there. I still cannot remember half of my 8th grade graduation class. A fact of age. Something we all need to be aware of and make a concerted effort to attend in 2013. Start saving now, start planning, make a mini vacation out of it. Whatever it takes for age will be a factor that we cannot ignore. It was great being a part of the planning conmmittee and creating those pesky name badges with our forgotten youthfulness. I don't know about the rest of you but I am staying 38 as long as I can. Golfing here I come.

Well,
I don't know how many of us have had to face reality but the big 50 hit me pretty hard. The death of youth. LOL. Actually, if you act 10 years younger it will show. Just not sure how much longer I can hide it. Best wishes and a Happy Birthday to all of you that have to face the 1/2 century mark as we march closer to, yikes, senior citizen. AARP is already chasing me.

It is with a sad note an obituary appeared in the Yakima Herald I accidentally came across that caught my eye on Christmas Eve. (David) Chris Northrup past away on December 9th, 2009 in San Antonio, TX. He was in the military for 31 years. Chris was 50. According to his parents who live in Yakima he lived and breathed the Army. He is resting with full military honors at Ft. Sam Houston National Cemetary, San Antonio, TX. I spoke briefly with Chris prior to our 30th reunion. He could not attend and sent his regards to everyone.
